It's more affordable, which matters for a piece that's often more about fun and personality than a permanent investment. It's also much safer to have in a bedroom — no glass to worry about breaking, no fragile tubing near a bed or a nightstand. If you're after that warm, glowing neon look without the cost or fragility of real glass, LED is genuinely the right answer for this use case, not just the cheaper one.
