Interior Designer Collaborations

Custom neon lighting for interior designers and architects. Color-matched, carefully diffused glass built to become part of a room's architecture rather than decorate it. Recent work includes a private residence in Newport Beach.

Custom Neon Lighting for Interior Designers & Architects

Lighting sets the energy of a room before anyone notices the furniture. Neon Flamingo works with interior designers and architects to bring that same level of attention to custom neon: hand-bent glass, color-matched to the palette, diffused to the right softness, and built to look like it was always part of the space.

Lighting Sets the Feel of a Room

Any designer knows a space lives or dies on its light. Neon offers something most lighting can't. A warm glowing line can trace an architectural feature, wrap a stairwell, sit behind a bar, or anchor a formal room while still reading as soft and considered rather than novelty. Done right, custom neon gives a finished room the kind of diffused glow that makes it feel complete.

Built From Your Spec, Not a Catalog

Working with designers means working from real design intent: a color palette, a material board, a rendering. We fabricate to match. Color temperature and hue are matched against fabric swatches, paint colors, or metal finishes. Sizing is built to the architectural spec instead of a standard template. Glass diffusion gets tuned so the light reads exactly as soft or as bold as the room calls for.

Recent Work: A Private Residence in Newport Beach

We recently completed custom neon lighting for a private residence in Newport Beach, working closely with the design team to match color and finish against the home's existing material palette. The lighting reads as part of the architecture rather than something layered on top of it, which is what happens when neon gets treated as a design material from the start.

How We Work With Design Teams

  • Direct collaboration: we work from renderings, material boards, or a designer's own sketches

  • Color and finish matching: precise Pantone and material matching against existing palettes

  • Custom sizing: built to the exact dimensions the space calls for

  • Revisions handled directly: one point of contact from first concept to final install, no middleman

  • Local delivery and installation: hand-delivered and installed across LA and Orange County, never shipped

Why This Matters

Custom neon can do more for a high-end interior than most lighting categories. It is sculptural, it is warm, and it can disappear into a room's architecture as easily as it can become the centerpiece. For designers working on elevated residential or hospitality spaces, that range is the whole point.
