Custom Neon Signs in Studio City
Studio City splits neatly in two: Ventura Boulevard commercial frontage, and hillside homes where the brief is art rather than advertising.
We do both — a legible boulevard sign that survives afternoon sun, or a quiet interior piece sized to a specific wall in a specific room.
Ventura Boulevard storefront signage
Boulevard frontage faces long sun exposure and fast-moving traffic. We use UV-stable backings, size letterforms for a 35mph read, and place the sign where the building's own shade helps it rather than fights it.
Neon for restaurants, bars and salons
Interior neon does double duty as decor and as the thing guests photograph. We design around the seating plan and the light levels so the piece is the brightest thing in the frame without flattening everything around it.
Residential neon art
Home commissions are usually about scale and colour discipline: one considered piece, dimmable, wired cleanly, sized so it doesn't dominate the room. We mock everything to scale on a photo of the actual wall before building.

Neon sign questions from Studio City clients
- Is neon safe to have at home?
- Yes, when it's properly built and installed. Modern transformers include short-circuit and ground-fault protection, and the tube runs warm rather than hot. For kids' rooms and high-traffic spots we often suggest LED neon instead.
- How much power does a neon sign use?
- Far less than people expect — a typical home-sized glass piece draws roughly the same as a couple of incandescent bulbs. LED neon uses less again.
- Can you mock up the sign on a photo of my wall?
- That's standard for us. You'll approve a to-scale visual before any glass gets bent.
