A First Curation, A Breakout Night
A debut show is a risk. Untested lineup, unproven eye, no track record. Electric Winter answered that in one night with a line around the block, which says as much about relationships in the LA art community as it does about the work on the walls. It set the tone for everything Dani Bonnet has curated since, including OFF//ON at the Hollywood Palladium.

A Night of Neon, Mixed Media, and Music
Electric Winter brought together a genuinely strong roster of Los Angeles-based fine artists, presenting new work across neon and mixed media:

Fine Art: Gabi Abrão, Lena Daly, Everett Fitzpatrick, Lauren Griffin, Fatima Nieto, Alison Oksner, Michael Pham, Alicia Polachek, Dewey Saunders, and Tyson Stryg
A live DJ set from Jerry Paper, the Los Angeles musician known for his blend of electronic, synth-pop and lounge, turned the gallery into a party and kept the crowd well past the opening walkthrough.

Why This Project Matters
Electric Winter is where Dani Bonnet's curatorial career started. A packed debut backed by a national beer brand at a respected LA gallery does not happen by accident, and every show since, OFF//ON included, was built on it.
